Investment Loans
Investment Loans are for those who want to purchase a property that is planned to generate income. Typically, investment loans are used to purchase single family homes, multi-family homes, townhouses or condos, as well as manufactured homes. Investment loans typically have stricter requirements than primary home loans. Borrowers for these loans typically require higher credit scores, more cash in reserve, larger down payments and often times past experience with managing investment properties. A borrower may also be required to provide additional information about the property such as location, projections of current rental income as well as an estimate of how much income a borrower expects to produce once they own the property. These loans are often more difficult to attain due to the increased risk to lenders.
